Purpose & Values

At LindyKL, we want to continually share our joy of swing dance and jazz music through our social events and classes. Our Friday social nights are open to the public and we welcome all ages of consent to learn the dance and history as well as to get to know our community.

LindyKL is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. Therefore all attendees, instructors, staff, and volunteers at our socials and classes are required to comply with the following code of conduct. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help keep our community and its members safe.

Our Anti-Harassment Policy

Harassment includes but is not limited to deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, dance skill level, dance role.

We will NOT tolerate harassment of any kind.

If a participant is engaging in harassing behaviour, we reserve the right to take any action deem appropriate; including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a staff member at the event immediately. You can also contact us anonymously using the form below.

Our staff will be happy to help participants contact the organizers, or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance and your safety.

We expect all participants to follow these rules at dance and workshop venues.
