Learn how to swing dance in a weekend! This Crash Course is an intensive workshop for absolute beginners and those who'd like to revisit their basics.
In this class you will learn concepts of leading and following, basic rhythm and turns of 6-count, 8-count and Basic Charleston.
Students must complete both days of class before moving on to Level 2. |

Should I register as a lead or follow?
In social partner dancing, the leader and follower have different roles.
- The leader has the job of maintaining the rhythm, knowing the figures of a dance, and deciding what figures he (or she) is going to lead, in addition to actually leading them.
Usually the men play this role. Ladies who would like to learn how to lead are of course welcomed as well. :)
- The follower, through reading the signals of the lead, executes the suggested figures.

Do you accept walk-ins?
- Walk-ins are NOT encouraged to make it fair for those who have registered and prepaid for the workshop.
